Spring is just around the corner and I would like to remind everyone that spring is the time when the largest number of unwanted and uncared for puppies and kittens are born. Please, before it is too late, spay and neuter your pets. If you are a lower income person or someone with financial hardships -- there are places you can still get your pet fixed at a lower cost. If you own cats or dogs under thirty pounds the Last Chance Cat Sanctuary is still having their mini clinics every two weeks. The cost for a cat is $35.00 and a dog is $40.00 or $45.00 I believe. This cost includes your 4way vaccination for cats and your 7 way vaccination for dogs as well as a Rabies vaccination (as long as your pet is old enough for the vaccination). For more info or to make an appointment please call them at 248-2388.

Thanks,

I am the founder of Hope Haven Animal Rescue. I have lived in Montana now for about four years. Since the day I moved here I have seen the need for animal rescue efforts and humane education. Before I moved to Montana I was involved in animal rescue in three other states during the last 14 years. I am hoping that by creating a blog about animal rescue and humane treatment of animals I will engage thought and encourage our public to come together to bring about positive changes in our communities. This is my first attempt at setting up a blog...so let me know if you see an area we can improve it. I am learning as I go.

Thank you for taking the time to read, learn, and interact here!!!
